Job Overview
Integrating with external web services including REST, XML and working with APIs. Implementation of High Availability solutions with Oracle 10g/11g/12c RAC with ASM, Physical Standby Databases (Data Guard). Tuning Oracle large databases for better performance using EXPLAIN PLAN, TKPROF, SQL Advisor, Stored Outline, Oracle Profile and Oracle Baseline. Integrating with external web services including REST, XML or JSON. Implement MySQL Enterprise Monitor, MySQL Replication Monitor and MySQL Query Analyzer for improving query performance and capacity planning in MySQL OLAP databases. Use MySQL dump to transfer the database from the Local instance to the external Amazon Aurora RDS. Start replication to the instance running external to Amazon Aurora RDS.
Education and Experience Requirements
Masters degree in Computer Science (any) or Engineering (any). As an alternative, a Bachelors degree in Computer Science (any) or Engineering (any) with 5 years of relevant experience acceptable.
